He went 9.04@150mph first time out last sat. All motor.
588, 15:1, BMF heads, brodix intake, 1600cfm Pro Sys dom...the works. Man does it sound cool too.
Doc will you have ur scales at pinks? He says it weighs 3400 but that seems awfully heavy for the nova.

Yes, that's heavy. Mine was 3050 with the Iron Merlin headed BB. It should be 20lbs lighter with the 990 headed 427.
All motor, no $hit! Holy crap-o-la, I'd have to sell the kids, and both dogs to build a motor like that.
Is he still running the small tire?

Yeah, he went 1.33 that outing i think is what he said. Stock suspension as well. He runs a 29X10.5W tire with just a mini tub(i think he is gona switch to 315Drs though). He said he lowered it way down from what it was in that pic also.
Brett just perked up.
Did Bretts wife tell u he was shooting blanks?
Dave Aug 12th, 09, 3:23 AM I love the plain/simplistic/bare bones look of that motor.

I keep hearing that Dale Green name....like 4 times in the last 2 or 3 weeks I've heard guys talking about him, and everybody looks at me funny when I say I've never really heard of him before so the name means absolutely nothing to me. My alignment guy said there's another guy in the area(can't remember his name, but I know his last name starts with a 'K') that he regards as better than Dale Green with Chevy engines though....of course I couldn't bring myself to have anyone else build/assemble my engine. If it blows, it's my fault....too much money to trust someone else.
66SSFan Aug 12th, 09, 10:29 PM It could be Cope?
Dale Green has an awesome Ford engine collection of the Nascar "cammer" 427's! He runs an old dragster with one thats really cool! The guy has a good rep and sponsors many local tracks:thumbsup:
