Anybody installed the Caddy rear discs w/ e-brakes, w/ the Lokar e-brake cable setup?
I'm gonna be doing just that in the next month or so on my frame-off, and am researching the cables for the calipers. Originals that came w/ the old calipers are in pretty bad shape. Seems only the 'left' original for the '79 Seville is available anymore. I ordered it from Autozone today, and it should be here in a day or so. I was hoping for a whole assembly w/ bracket/hardware so the Lokar setup would easily hook up.

Any info on my question would be appreciated.
I'll post w/ the results of my install as things progress.

fyi, the '79 Seville has the sm calipers w/ e-brake and the lg backing plates...very stout setup. Also fyi, these brakes will NOT fit 15" rims of the steel variety, but the Centerline AutoDrags appear to clear these brakes very nicely. Have *not* done a final fit assembly on the axle yet. I'll post when all is assembled.

I installed 81 Eldorado rear discs and chased down a couple of OE emergency brake cables. On the Eldorado, both calipers are on the back side so the cables were the same, left and right. I can get you the number if you'd care for it. Although I don't have it on the road yet, it's pretty complete and looks like it will work well.

Call Control Cable Inc. 562-949-0455 in Santa Fe Springs Ca. They build e-brake cables for some of the after market brake kit mfgs. They can copy from samples &/or custom units based on samples. I have had them build custom cables for odd stuff over the years great service.

Thnx, all.

Doing some research on info BC gave in previous posts.

I'll post when I've got things figured out.
