I plan on being on the enterance road by 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning, about 4 others I know are hooking up down in Auburn and coming up to the track around that time frame. Greg, I will have the skinnies for John with me!!

:D You didnt have to be a paying member to post a picture but its for the best anyway.

Go to photobucket.com or anywhere you can put the picture online. Then right click and get photo properties and copy the image location address. Then click the little moutain image in the response box and paste in the address.

I just get a red X but that is most likely because I am at work and some sites get blocked.

While it's simple to post a picture when you already know how, it's a bit more difficult to figure it out when you don't already know how.....ran into this last week with Tracy.

Once in your album, you can put your cursor over a picture and three or four address lines will appear underneath it. Choose the Image address link one at the bottom of that little box that appears. Sometimes when you click on it, the word COPY will appear automatically...if not, after you have highlighted the Image address link, right click and choose copy. You can then Paste that image link to a post on this site....I would recommend having 2 pages open at the same time so you can toggle between them without closing one of the pages. For more pictures do the same copy and paste method as the first picture you did. A maximum of 10 pictures/smileys per post is allowed on TCNW.

Only a driveway test so far but the gut feeling and seat-O-pants dyno made me finally feel like this car feels fast. The changes over the last few days made this car a night and day difference from Friday.

I thought about what it would be like running in the 11's and 12's and I'm not sure I could do it again. Honestly it's not the top end speed that is the difference but the hit off the line is the kicker. I just love that kick in the ass feeling, after that your just along for the ride.
BTW, looking to 60' at or near 1.25 this weekend.

well if my test goes well tomorrow i may try and get there thursday afternoon and hopefully i wont deal with with any traffic, although hitting traffic and staying at low speeds would be good for the truckntrailer :D

hey is it cool with the group if i bring my dog? pacifics site says its cool as long as he is on a leash or a restraint of some sort. he should be alright he loves everyone we will bring his crate if he gets too crazy. i just wanna make sure its not gonna be a huge issue if he is around or if anyone is allergic or anything. he SHOULDNT bark at anything during the night and if he does ill let him in the tent or something. if theres an issue tell me asap so i can make some doggy accomodations :D

I don't mind dogs at the track as long as you have a motor home so they can be away from the noise. Dogs having hearing much better than ours and it gets dog gone loud at the track.

John and I will be leaving my house at 5am Friday so we can meet the guy that will have my car on his trailer on Maple Valley Highway just south of Renton at 6am.

We'll follow Hwy 169 to Hwy 18 and into the track.

That way we'll be in line before the gate opens.

I was here when I posted! I got work to hook me up with a wireless card so I don't have to deal with DOIM.

I hope the line is not too long when I try to go Saturday. I would rather park somewhere else and walk in.

Martin was there early. Jim D was on his way last time I heard. I'm doing a nut and bolt go-over (Crew chief Roger dictating tasks for me before we go) then it's ready to load up.
Haven't had an actual road test of the converter so when Roger shows up we're going for a burn if the roads are dry.

Then,,,,,,,,,,what time to go. Have today off so could go ahead and go to the track but end up parked by myself, or wait for everyone else, which would be much more enjoyable to hang next to my good buddies.

Hmmmmm, what to do,,,what to do??????????? Guess I'll wait and see if I blow the nova motor up on the test run first.

OK just called. They are well prepared they assured me and Pinks is nowhere as big as nationals that they hold. Sounds like I can almost drive right in.

I went by the Canyon Park exit this morning and realized that isn't an easy on/off for us.... so, let's make it the next exit.

The 195th/ Beardslee exit would be much easier.
It's a straight through from the off ramp back onto the on ramp.
5:15 would still work.

Pacific gates are open until 10:00 PM tonight.

So far Jim D is still waiting in the field to get in and Martin got in about a 1/2 hour ago. Jim says he only car #121 and there's about 200 more after him.

I assume the majority of the vehicles showed up today. Jim said it's a cluster and sounded tired and spent already. Tammy called the track and they were the one's who said they would be open until 10:00 PM.

They are allowing some registrations tonight but no tech'ing.

I'm loaded and ready to go but traffic would suck right now and I know once there I'd sit in line to who knows how long. I am considering leaving tonight and hopefully the line has gotten smaller and the wait minimal,,,,,,still undecided. If waiting until tomorrow AM, it may be a half the day waiting to get parked, then get registered,,,then get through tech, and finally maybe get to make a pass.

Can someone please remind me again why we are going the Pinks all out? I bet if Bremerton is open Friday it'd be a 20-25 pass day.

i totally see what youre sayin. im watchin pinks in memphis right now and it just looks like one big dog and pony show. i wouldnt mind gettin a sh!t ton of runs in but meh i signed up for it ill see what happens out there. hopefulle we will get some tnt action in on friday

We just decided we would wait and leave about 3:00 AM from our house. It would be dark before we get there now, had we went tonoght, so if we get in line early tomorrow at least we have half a chance in the AM.

Normal national events can take up to two or more hours waiting on the off ramp of hwy18 just to get in, the roads leading to the parking area are the same going through to the pits and it can take for ever.

Don't know what it is going to be like for you guys showing tomorrow but it can't be good. We were number 121 and it took 5 hours to get in and there had to be 200 cars behind us. I can tell you that just about every good pit spot is taken and I don't know where they are going to put the Friday group.

Don't forget that the track staff tomorrow will be focusing on test n tune/track prep, as well as the cars coming in the gate and teching tomorrow....for some reason I don't see it being any better unless they bring more people in to staff the track.

Wrong! It is a and was a zoo. I have never had to sit that long to get in, ever. There are a ton of people that are coming in with the cars, not just the cars and driver. When I left almost all the pits were full and more people coming in. See ya there. :hurray:

Just talked to Greg, and they all made it in w/o problems this morning, about 1 1/2 hour wait to get in & Pitted.
