I purchased an air ( PCV/AC air cleaner 12,000 miles service sticker) for my 66 396/325. Cost was nominal and the sticker refers to the correct AC filter but my question is were they originally used on my snorkel type air cleaner? I know they were originally paper decals not foil like the new ones but were they correct and where is the proper placement on the air cleaner base? If someone actually had a picture that would be great. Additionally the passenger rocker arm cover has a Tonowanda sticker on it. It appears to be in the right spot but I don't remember these as being correct until the 67 build year. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Doug

The sticker is on the opposite side of the snorkel, and it is a paper type sticker. Here is some pictuers. My car is a very late 66 with 51,000 miles and it does not have a tonowanda sticker.

No Tonawanda sticker in '66 is the general consensus.

Thanks guys!.
The Tonowanda sticker is history and even though I don't have the paper air cleaner decal I'm putting the foil one on anyway.
