Hey guys, need some help. I'd like to hook some headers on to my 396. What do you guys think is the best way to go? Shorty, torque, horsepower, prices, brand names? I need it all. Any advice would be much apprediated. I don't really care if they look "pretty" as long as they enhance performance and sound mean. Thanks,
JohnMUrestiJr.

I have Sanderson Headers bolted to a SB in my '67 Elcamino. I choose the shorties due to ground clearance. I like them over any other header. The guys I know that have them on their BB seem to like them just as well. I know of one guy that has the cast iron set also. He likes them better than the tube headers for performance. www.sandersonheaders.com (http://www.sandersonheaders.com)

Headman or DynoMax full length with 1 3/4" primary tube and 3" Collectors. Ceramic coating is highly recommended.
