Hey guys I'm himmin on a 71 SS LS5 car that has the original drivetrain, buildsheet, and panels. The car is correct blue with black stripes.
Motor is .060 over and has lots of aftermarket accessories which is what concerns me most. The car is stunning and almost 100% original with the exception of cd player and goodies in and on motor. He has original heads, intake, and air cleaner. Also has most AC parts (was an ac car as well)
Its an auto.
With a build sheet for docs, whats a nice LS5 worth in today's market?
Thanks guys :D

No underside pics, hope it is solid being that it spent most of its life in CA, no guarantees though. Resto looks decent, a few things I would want fixed, especially under the hood. I would venture to say a 20k car, I know that they probably have more into it, but the market is changing on these cars, and hasnt hit bottm yet. I could be wrong, but I think that this car has been for sale a while now. What were they asking last auction?

One thing you want to check is the rest of the engine numbers 10808CPD. Part of the vin should be stamped on the pad also, otherwise it would seem that it was conveniently removed. Check the trans also.

Greetings, I have had my 1971 SS454 with a M-22 4speed since 1977. Its a bit tired but I have all documentation on the car. Value of my car is priceless because it has been in the family for over 30 years. To someone who is looking to buy a Chevelle have some fun and sell it for a few years they will be looking for the best deal. I have always had the opinion that if you are looking for a "keeper" you do not mind spending a little more.
If I was looking at the blue Chevelle I would target $25-$30K. I am a purest and do not care for the aftermarket under the hood. Vinyl tops do not work for me either.
