I am about to reinstall the rear control arms on my 69 after boxing and I have noticed that 2 of the 8 bolts have shoulders on them. I can not remember where these 2 go.

I'm not sure, but the Assembly Manual shows the bolts for the upper arms and housing end of the lower arms as one part number, and the 2 bolts that go on the frame end of the lower arms as a differant part number.

Don't know what the differance is or why those 2 should be differant, but if you pulled those 8 bolts out of your car and 2 are differant, I guess those two would be the ones that go on the frame end of the lower arms.

shouldered bolts go through the frame end of the lower control arm, not the axle end.
