Get the block casting number and casting date.

Just noticed the 0 in the code you posted -TO8250 LB
Take another look at that code and see what that 0 really is -a C maby?

Tom1971 engines had a three letter suffix code. CLB could be a 71 LS3 engine from a Chevelle w/TH400. Like the difference between the letter 'O' and the number '0', big difference between the two.

{Edit}The partial VIN of 11k111445 would indicate a 1971 Chevelle from KC with sequence number 111445.

Its really hard to tell. What if it was?

Took the hood off to read the number on the back of the block. Here's what I came up with.
