: Took a photo of a friends pickup
normie Aug 7th, 09, 11:09 AM I'm going to be putting some graphics on a friends trailer, so he wanted me to put his pickup on the side, I'm thinking about making it look like the side of the trailer was tore off with his pickup sitting inside..
The photo came out pretty nice, so I figured I'd share..

Nice looking truck. Don't know those old Pickups. Is it a Ford? What year?
normie Aug 7th, 09, 11:48 AM I'm pretty sure it's a 32, only thing I can tell you is it sounds NASTY.. It's got some kinda horsepower.. I'll ask him when I see him again..
Not a big fan of the chopped top (maybe it is the angle of the pic?) and choice of wheels but it is still pretty cool. Color is great
Alwhite00 Aug 7th, 09, 2:57 PM Smooth painted running boards would look a lot better, Nice truck. (As long as you are not over 5'5" or 150 lbs.) BTW - Looks like a 33/34 ford grille.

Professor_SS Aug 7th, 09, 4:14 PM It isn't a 32. 34 would be my guess based on the grill and the side panels of the hood as well as the kick up behind the front wheel on the fender but I am not as up on the mid thirties trucks as the cars.
sg5492 Aug 7th, 09, 4:35 PM Nice truck.

LKAgree on the running boards. Would be a complete pain to keep clean if it was a driver. Guess thats why youre painting a trailer for it though.
Post up some pics of the trailer when youre done.
Also, throw up some pics of other work youve done.
68bye Aug 7th, 09, 6:47 PM I'll put my two cents in. It looks like a '33 grill shell to me. I LOOOOOOVE the color.
............heck, I'd take it just the way it sits. :D
normie Aug 7th, 09, 7:17 PM Yeah I was gonna say 32 or 33.. It's a 33.. He's buying the trailer so he can take it to florida for the winters, along with his bikes. He does drive it. A lot.. The coupe is his wife's..
I also took some photos of his coupe..

chevelledude71 Aug 8th, 09, 1:12 PM Great photos and great workmanship.
I have those wheels on my Mustang and they are a pain in the fingers to clean. :)
normie Aug 11th, 09, 2:51 PM I was looking at those wheels and thinking about how difficult they would be to clean up!
Thanks for the comments!
chadh5 Aug 11th, 09, 4:49 PM FYI, 32-34 Ford trucks are all the same. This one has a '33-34 style aftermarket passenger car grille and passenger car front fenders.
His Model A sedan is a '30-31, with a '32 passenger car grille shell.
