i would like to run a 17x8 with a 245 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear with 285 or 295. i was wondering if this is possible for one and was also looking to put foose wheels on the car.... i have the hotchkis tvs suspension with 2'' drop spindles. can someone point me towards the light? what backspacing would i need to look into?

The only thing I have to add is when you put 2 inch drop spindles on it brings your front steering arm lower to the bottom of the wheel and this could interfere with wheel movement if you have too much backspacing.
I hope that made sense.
Other then that, I know a 9.5 in wheel will fir in the back depending on backspacing.

I don't have drop spindles on mine, but i do have hotchkis 2" lowering springs on it. It has not changed the way my car handles, or turns. I also run 16" with a 225 tire on the front, and 17" with a 275 tire on it with a 9,5" rim. My backspace is 5.5"on the rear and4.5 on the front. Hope this helps.

I have a 71 monte with 2 inch drop spindles and hotchkis 1 inch lowering springs. Right now I have TTIIs 17x7 on the front, not sure the backspacing but if I had more I would run into the tie rod.
I just bought some 20s and bumped it up to 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear
