I have been trying to purchase new hood insulation for my SS, non functional cowl hood, 1970. Each time I recv a box from Ground up its missing the round center piece. My car currently has a round piece of insulation in the center. Ground Up says that my center insulation is incorrect and should not be there. Just find it odd that my car has it.

Anybody have a round piece of insulation in their non functional cowl hood? And if so where can I get the correct replacement.

Keep the stuff from Groundup. E-mail me your address and I'll have the piece you need in the mail by friday. I ordered for my flat hood and then installed an SS. Hopefully it will match (dark charcoal color??)

I bought my hood insulation from Ausley's Chevelle Parts. The round center was included.
