Hey, I've tried and I cant figure out how to take videos off of my phone and put them on my computer. I can do pictures and music no problem though. If i plug my phone into the computer with my USB cord a little window pops up with options like "play using media player", "play using real time", and theres "copy photos to computer" and by clicking on that I can add all the pictures off my phone to my computer. But videos dont show up in the list of pictures at all. None of the options that come up in the little window that pops us when I plug it in to do videos.

The phone is one of the newer motorola razors. Do you guys have any ideas on what i could do, the user manual that came with the phone is almost comically useless lol. And I've got some CLASSIC videos on my phone that i would love to be able to put on the computer:D

Close that window that pops up. Double click my computer, and then just explore the new drive that is showing. Drill down and find your videos. If your highest drive letter is say, E, then the phone will show up as F.

That window that pops up should also have the open to browse the contents as well.

Are you with Roger's? My daughters' phone is so locked up, she can't even make a ring tune from recording something, then trying to make it a ring tune. Maybe you can buy the videos from Roger's. (just kidding) There are plenty of places that can unlock it for a small fee. Good luck. Daren

Under file options, do you have the show hidden files box checked?

Also, I don't believe the RAZRs save in a native format for windows, they are saved as .3GP files, so keep an eye out for those extensions. I think MP4s do play on the RAZR though.

Is there not a video directory?

You could also try Motorola's Phone tools, http://direct.motorola.com/ens/MPT/MPT_FullSpecs.asp

Once installed, go to Multimedia tools and open the Video Studio.

When you explore the phone, click on Tool, Folder Options, look for the check box for Show Hidden Files.

Also try those Motorola Tools, I mentioned.

oh okay, i found that "Show Hidden Files" and it is selected already,

for the tools you mentioned, I'm pretty bad with computers and on that link I dont see exactly what you mean, am I looking a physical tool? or like a download thing?
