Hello, I've got my eye on some frame braces on E-Bay. They are the rear frame stiffening braces on SS & high horsepower Chevelles. The run between the upper & lower control arm mounting points on the frame. Will braces from a '68 - '72 fit on my '67 Malibu? I did a search on these in Chevelle Tech but found no reference to interchangability between years. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

No, they won't. My old GM parts manual shows one set of numbers for 65-66 and different numbers for 67 only! Either of these will work. The only difference between them is that the 67 braces look like the 68-72 units only shorter where the 65-66 braces are physically "bulkier" than the 67's. Year One, Ground Up and others all sell reproduction braces that will fit 64-67 A-Bodies and most of the aftermarket suspension guys have their own version of them too at slightly higher prices. Good OEM units will bring over $100.00 on eBay!

Thanks a lot. You just saved me some cash. I'll check out Year One. Thanks again!
