We thought we'd be done last week but a few more changes (TCS) and waiting on few forgotten parts held us up a little. We finally got it outside for a quick clean up and test ride. The car runs great, no set backs or disappointments. We may hit our first car show Friday night, weather permitting.

Thanks guys. PS, I hope this is OK to mention here but for those of you that know Steve Hackel well, his Dad passed last week and maybe some of you that know him personnaly could drop him a note. I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated. Steve has done some great work for a lot of us here and I'm sure it's not an easy time for him. Support through friendship is a great healer.

Thank you, but notice I said we. This is my friends' car that he recently bought. I'm just helping him spend more money than he wanted to and doing most of the work but I enjoy this type of stuff in 100 degree heat!!:clonk:

This time if you find the car and I'm not there at that split second, hang around for a bit or come back later. If the car is there, I'll be there!!!:beers:

John, it was Steve Hackels' dad, not the owners. Steve does a lot of restorations on wiper motors and he's done quite few for TC members. He's pretty well known here.
