I have a 66 Chevelle and I'm replacing the bushings in the front end and the rear bushing hole in the lower A-arms is 1 and 7/8" and the bushings in the kit and all the other's I've seen over the counter are way too small. It is possible that the arms were replaced at some point in the cars life, but with what? Has amyone seen this before? It seems that the later modles(67-72) have the same part number for the bushing, but the 64 part was not available at the local parts store. Any Ideas?

My '64 has the two different size thing as well. It was common, not a backyard swap. When I ordered my PST bushings they specifically asked me the diameters before putting the order through! A good parts guy with a catalog should be able to help you out.

When I replaced all of the bushings and body mounts in my car I came across the same thing. There were a couple of sizes for the bottom rear bushings, at first I got the small ones and had to reorder the larger ones. I'll look around and see if I can find the size.
I'm sure you have the correct lower a-arms. smile.gif
