Is it possible to bleed the back brakes from the rear to the front,is there a check valve?I seem to have some air pocket or something..with the car jacked up in gear I hit the brakes and the rear wheels still spin unless I have the brake pedal mashed..let off just a little and it will spin and I have them adjusted tight..If I bleed them from the back to front by putting a squirt can with fluid on the wheel cyl and pushing fluid
to the mc.

I have never found anyone who has had good success trying to push fluid up the lines... much better to push it down the lines. I've also found that gravity tends to be the best bleeder... open the bleeder screw and let it flow for a while. Make sure the MC stays full of fluid. Assuming you have a disk/drum setup and MC, you can bleed the rears separate since they are a separate circuit. Also make sure you don't have any air bubbles in the MC.

Outside of that, you could possibly have a bad MC that has an internal leak.

Good Luck,
Bill C.

vendo - We need more information. What year is the car? How old are the metal brake lines? How old are the flexible hoses at the end of the hard lines? Are these power brakes or manual? If they are power brakes how old is the vacuum assist and what size if not the stock one? Are the brakes disc or drums?

Whe you attempt to bleed them does the fluid shoot out easily or dribble out?

You could have a lot of possible problems from rust in the hard lines: ballooning flex lines; bad vacuum assist unit; bad master cylinder; plugged up metering valve; etc.
