Which do you like better, white letters or black? I know the angles arent the same but should be close enough.
Trying to decide if I did the right thing.;)

Ron, normally my preference is White lettered. However, when it comes to Cragar SS wheels I prefer the Black look.

Black walls. I think it gives a cleaner look and doesn't distract from the rest of the car.

Absolutely no doubt about it, raised white letters! Ties it in with white stripes and white interior and makes it look not so plain.

I agree with Jeff on the previous page. To much sidewall needs the white letters. If you were running the low profile tire I prefer black walls. I'll bet Ron puts it like Ron wants it but its always good to get different opinions!

Yeah, thats what I will do. The white letters have been out for the past 7 years, today I replaced the tires and thought I would try a change. I'm not sure I like it with black walls out but the white letters were a pain to keep looking bright white and I hate them when they look "dingy".

Ok, RWL...I thought about using the stock SS wheels but this car is so far from original it just didnt seem right. I'm going to paint it the original color this winter (black) and I may change the wheels at the same time.

RWL - Looks great with them. A little commet & a scrub brush keeps them looking like new.

Raised white letters(RWL) are sooooo yesterday! But I guess they might be o.k. if you were using the correct SS wheels for the originality look, but otherwise forget about it.

Yes, I appreciate the nostalgia thing, but black side walls(BSW) really show do up custom wheels better and draw attention to the overall car more.

The RWL's are redundant and just advertising for the tire manufacturer.

Normally I could do without the letters, but on this one the raised white letters really tie the interior and stripes together (I know it already was said). The cragars with the raised letters scream '70's musclecar, where a low-pro wheel with black sidewalls out point to a recent restification.

I like the way the white letters pick up the White Stripe theme. Go with White Letters on this car.
