I have a buddy that I work with that just got his I think 67 Nova back from the guy he sold it to years ago. It has a 350 T-350 . He wants to put a Holley 600 or 650 vacuum sec carb on it.

Does anyone have a decent one at a good price sitting around? If its all there but just needs a quick clean and gaskets that would be fine also.

Thanks guys

If the price is right I might part with my 600 Vacuum. I still haven't got around to putting it on the car, every time I think I'm gonna something else breaks.

Jim, Which 600 do you have?? I have an Edelbrock 650 on my 327 now and want to switch it with a 600 holley. I would like to try a 600 holley first to see any difference but cant find anyone with a used one to loan me for a few days.

Hey Dave! Hows the profile now? Thanks by the way for setting up the 3:73 gears & straightening the tubes. I had a little trouble with the line lock install but got it all fixed. Just need to bleed the brakes again. Was too busy doing my siding on my house this evening that I will take it out tomorrow. Then I will attempt the burn out!! Took it out yesterday for 20 minutes for the break in and could tell a difference. I did notice some clicking in the driver side rear wheel?? Not sure if thats normal or not. Any idea?

What do you mean clicking? The gear lube you used had the additive in it already, if I remember right.

You mean like when you get a rock stuck in the tread?

Shouldn't click.

I know it was weird, it didnt sound like a rock click although I do have a gravel driveway. When I take it out tomorrow I'll check the tires and ensure It wasnt that. If it was I will feel real stupid :D The gear lube did have the additive. Ill let you know what I find and the results! Again Thanks!

Oh and I better not forget to thank Kevin for being the middle man and delivering the rear end to you for me. Dont want to forget my younger Brother :noway:

It's a 4160 Vacuum Secondary with an Electric Choke. I don't remember the part number off hand, I'll let you know when I get home.

Right now it's looking like I'll need to sell the car so I'd be happy to give the Carb a new home.

Your gonna get alot of business charging $20 for a gear swaps... :D I hope you did get the full amount.

Also still didnt get a chance to bleed the brakes today and take it out. It was raining and had a B-Day party to go to. We have a car show tomorrow locally here and will try to get it out on the road for a test run.

we were confused that you have a 650 double pumper vacuum secondary carb. the point of a double pumper is the secondaries are mechanically operated not vacuum operated like a vacuum secondary

In other words, we've had a lot of fun poking fun at Craig's list ads stating they are Double pumpers when they clearly have the secondary vacuum pod. We've been saying they are the super rare version double pumper.

Many confuse the duel feed with it being a double pumper. It's all good,,,,,

As for my Blake 650, I'd actually like it back as I have a need for it on one of my vehicles.
