Hard to find good original or NOS trim rings for 15 x 7 SS wheels . Opinions on best repos or have read somewhere that 88 and up S-10 4x4 trim rings are the same ?

Uh, I think the 919 trim ring is for the 14 x 7 SS wheel in 1970. He's talking 71-72 SS wheels, I think the part number for the trim ring ends in 524. Not sure if they are still available, and I'm also not sure if they changed designs through the years as this same basic wheel was used through 1981 on the Camaro Z28.

I just tryed the 524 part # N/A. The 919 part # came up at $155.53 each .

If you need the 15 x 7 trim ring, the 919 will not work....that's the 14 inch one.

Thanks Dave - Is the 524 # a listing for 88 and up S-10 4 X 4 trim ring, or is it specific for the early 15 x 7 SS wheel.

I just went through the gm search under 71 chevelle and it came up with the 919 number for the SS wheels, so I thought it would be for the 15x7's.
Funny thing, I needed a shift ball for my muncie shifter awhile back and I thought I ordered one from them. I ended up with a column shift arm without the knob! Jim

I'd like to replace a couple of mine too but all the reproduction ones I've seen have a shiny, polished finish and my original ones have a brushed finish to them.

I have 4 15 inch trim rings off a 72 Monte Carlo. I'm not sure they are all the same but I'm guessing at least one or 2 are original. I can post pics if anyone is interested and if I'm not mistaken on the size.
