im getting a horseshoe shifter and i was wondering if i need the wiring harness, and if i do will it connect to the sweep style dash?

You will need the console harness so that the reverse lights and Neutral safety switch function properly as well as the console lights. All you do is plug it into the dash harness. There are plugs there for this.

I believe theres a intermediate harness that goes between the console harness to the dash harness. I just couldnt see myself pay 45-50 bucks for 4 wires and a couple connectors, so I just got some solderless connectors and made my own. jim
