Stock F41 suspension w/air bag in the pass. side spring works fine.Even the stock F41 by itself works great.Sticky tires are a must, forget about street radials if you're serious. What are your 60 ft. times currently?

Brad, the F41 rear suspension is boxed lower control arms w/sway bar and frame supports.F41 is the factory heavy duty rear suspension.

So thats my best way to do it? Even over traction bars? Again thanks for the help as I'm still new to chevelles. So the F41 was a factory option on all cars? Or just SS's

I did SSM Lift bars for my lower arms, moog stock springs, stock uppers *U Channel* with poly bushings, edelbrock frame braces, and edelbrock shocks. Haven't gotten my sway bar int here yet (no funds) but my car has 0 wheel hop (on street tires) and i have a REAL tough time spinning my tires anymore i use to be able to spin them forever. I also have a non-posi rear.

I changed my things piece by piece and the TWO biggest differences were, SSM lift bars, and the edelbrock shocks. The others i didn't notice a HUGE difference, but the car just got stiffer & stiffer. Which is the way i like it.

BowTieFan I think the cheapeast way. Which is a good way for traction. Would be what Mr 4 speed says. I would use 2 air bags. Only reason for 2 would be to level the car up. If it has a level problem. If not, use 1 for the right rear. Then go from there.

Just a note, I have F 41 on my 69 L-78 4-speed,The wheel hop was FEROCIOUS!!!

Because of the pedigree of the car I didn't want to do anything to change the appearance, so I just took a shot at replacing the bushings w/ urethane . [the rubber bushing were only a few years old, certainly not shot,]

Well wheel hop is GONE, 100%. But the ride has suffered. I can feel vibrations telegraphed up thru the suspension now that weren't there before the swap.

I have SSM bars in my '67 and they REALLY seem to work.

I just pulled my rearend on my 69 and am concentrating on the suspension gumball68 or anyone what do you think of the binding in the rear with poly in the upper arms? ive got poly all the way round up front and will get a set of global west or edelbrock boxed lower control arms for the rear with a rear sway stock replacment springs and airshocks If i clean up the stock uppers which would be the best bushing for the upper rubber urethane or poly? didnt mean to take over the post but i thought it was a good place to post thanks in advance
