First off I searched for about 2 hours and found nothing on this perticular setup, but I did find alot of other front brake combo's (most with the tall spindle swap though)
I was wondering if anyone has attempted this or looked into it. I'm tempted to order up a set of calipers and try to make a set of brackets to mount them to the drumbrake spindle along with C5 rotors (find a hub that works with them)

Actually this is a fairly common swap. Check out Speedtech or Touring Classics. Both offer kits for using C5 calipers and 13" Rotors on stock A body spindles. A word of caution, due to the size of the C5 caliper and the inboard orientation of the C5 rotor, this combination limits the wheels that will clear this setup. They also offer a C4 rotor/C5 caliper kit. This will clear most 17" wheels. In both situations, you would use the stock drum brake hub (it requires that you turn down the OD to fit in the rotor). They supply a bracket to bolt the caliper to the stock spindle. You can download a template from Touring Classics that will show you which setup will fit your wheels.

Wheels are going to be and after though, Brakes first then wheels that fit them. :D thanks for the info. I really looking a The 17x8" Boyd Magneato's and I'm hoping those will clear, 18's are an option but I like to has some sidewall to protect the rims in pothole heaven up here. (I've bent a rim on my thunderbird already with 17x9 wearing 255/45/17 rubber last year)
