The 67 Elky I recently acquired has a mild Comp cam and I can't seem to hold vacuum in my power disk brake booster. The booster seems to be OK so I am open to suggestions on how to keep the vacuum up. I have heard of a vacuum pump but not familiar with the details. Any suggestions short of pulling the cam and going back to a stock 396/325 cam?

Have you checked the grommet that goes in the booster? Mine cracked and I had a heck of a time finding what it was. How big is the mild cam?
