Hi guys, I've got one of the rear disc brake conversions with the calipers that have the built-in cable arm for the emergency brake. I've got everything hooked up and plumbed, opened the bleeders, and then tried applying pressure in the MC and pumping the peddle and can't get fluid out. Any ideas? FYI, this is a 72 Chevelle, orginal 4 wheel drums, now 4 wheel power discs, has a distribution block on the frame, and I added a a prop valve, but it's open all the way right now. Thanks in advance!

I don't have rear disc but I have had trouble getting fluid to flow after installing new lines, combo valve and a line lock. I ended up buying a vacuum pump to get the fluid flowing and then let it gravity bleed. In fact I had to start at the drivers side front (closest to MC) which I know is not recommended. After I got fluid at the drivers front the back bleeders flowed fine and I was able to bleed it normally (furthest to closest). Good luck!
P.S. I bought a cheap $25 vacuum pump at Pep Boys, I wouldn't spend much more than that and it worked fine. Better yet see if you can borrow one!

start at the M/C don't pump it, just push it down and close the line. when you get a good stream of fluid out of both lines, then go to the right rear. be careful not to let your helper jam the pedal down.

Yeah, that's my real problem here probably, I need a helper :) Kind of hard to do these things by yourself. I'll try to recruit the neighbor tomorrow.
Redneck70 - I may try what you're talking about too, the only issue I've got there is the crappy design of this system makes it almost impossible to get a hose or even a wrench on the bleeder, but I may try something new on that front.
Thanks for the input guys!
