I'm doing a complete Body Off restoration on a 72 Chevelle. Will be a 454 SS clone. On the Front End Suspension/Steering components, besides replacing the obvious Bushings, Ball Joints, and Tie-Rods. What other Components commonly wear, and should be replaced while I have everything dis-assembled? I am on a budget so I can't go crazy, but I'm looking for a stock or slightly better handling when done.

Thanks,
Bob

while you have everything a part you should look into swapping in the 93-98 Grand Cherokee Steering Box. It's a relatively easy swap and all the parts necessary can be found by searching on here. I have yet to do it, but there is tons of positive feedback on here about how much nicer (and safer) the car is to drive. Just a thought
