Just helped a friend install a front disc kit from Baer on his 68 SS and we are having a problem bleeding them.
The car had original 4 piston caliper discs. The fronts build pressure great and bleed like normal but the rear just dribbles out and won't move the shoes.
We bled the MC on the bench and noticed the front brake port (rear on the MC) will squirt right off when the plunger is pushed but the rear port only starts to squirt at 3/4 travel.
The original MC has a steady stream front and rear through the full stroke. I thought is might be a bad MC but Baer is closed today so he will call tomorrow and ask them.
We had the lines installed correctly, the rear line went to the front port and vise versa. Anyone else seen this problem?
Thanks, Todd.
