The Orange one kind of makes it look like a Dodge to me. I'm really digging the Green!

I agree the hood is not my top choice. I think the hood from last years Camaro would be much nicer.

I like the orange

You seem to like that hood but it does nothing for the lines on the Chevelle. Something closer to stock would look better. I was at a show recently and saw a 70 with a hood that had the stock shape but the center section seemed to be raised a couple of inches more than stock. He was cruising by and I never did find him to ask questions but it looked to be fiberglass.

no the interior does not match all the stripes! and we are looking for a hood style not sure if we are going to use the one on the renderings!

I like the black, would be nice to see some carbonfiber in there somewhere. Maybe black with CF hood, trunk and brought down between the tail lights. I really like the blue as well! When i think "American Hero" i think of a huge US flag! How about blue with a gost flag under the paint draped accross the hood and fenders? Was that on the Camaro? As for the hood, yeah doesn't seem right. 70 Chevelles look SO GOOd with the factory cowl hoods. Hard to beat those lines! My 2 cents, and thanks for doing another to suport our troops!

Go with green, but ditch the hood!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know what you're planning engine wise - and I realize this a pro touring type project - but is there anything really wrong with the OEM cowl hood with a flapper? Can't tell you how many comments I get and fingers pointing about/at the hood at car shows. It's like a stinger hood is to a classic mid 60's Corvette, imo.

In our case we left some hp/tq on the table with the 555 in order to make sure everything could be stuffed under the factory hood. (see signature below). You could always change up the appearance with a paint scheme instead.

Just a suggestion.

I like the black but also don't like the lines of the hood. Too much of a hump for my taste.
