Any of you guys have no hop bars? If so what brand, lakewood or eledbrock? Do you have any pics? Do they work good?

I installed the Edelbrock No-Hops on my '69. I haven't had the car to the track or anything, but FWIW, the few times I've gottten into the throttle a little bit ( OK more than a little;)) I've really noticed how the rear really bites down, and the car tracks really straight.

I'm running the lakewoods and like them.

Was the full weight of the car sitting on the tires when you took that pic, or was the car raised up with the tires off of the ground?

I have the lakewoods I think they are sort of gold colored. I also have an air bag on the passenger side. Works pretty good.

That was an assembled frame, before the body install.

I run Southside Machine bars, which are now sold as Jegs brand. Haven't been to the track, but on the street, they really made a difference. If I start to do a burnout, but don't actually spin, the whole car rises up

Seemed to work well for me, the no-hops as well as slicks and other things dropped my 60 ft approx 3 tenths..
