A car with 26.6 diameter tires, manual transmission, turning 22-2300 RPMS at 55-60 MPH would have what ratio rear end ?

If 4th gear on a 4-speed is 1:1, and 3rd gear on a TH400 is 1:1, I see no difference.

My 331s with 26" tires & m20 turns 2600-2650rpms @ 60mph.

And my speedo is dead on ,i was clocked it along side my wifes new car on dbl lane rd and then also with GPS the other day on the interstate with a buddy too so i know the speedo is correct.

I also recently came accross one of the radar/speed signs the cops setup on the rolling carts that also read within 1 mph of what my speedo was reading so i am confident that my speedo is accurate.

I have also checked the old school sun tach i am running against my engine anilyzer its dead on with that too so it good too.

With that in mind id est roughly 331's-342's depending on man or auto trans that may have a little converter slippage with non lockup converter.

With a 3.31 rear @ 60mph and 26" diamter tires, you should get 2569rpms.
