I have a '65 Malibu with a new GMPP ZZ383 with a new GM front accessory drive serpentine setup. GM says that the female high pressure fitting on the new P/S pump is metric. My new P/S hoses have SAE fittings. How do I adapt the SAE male hose fittings to the female metric fitting on the P/S pump? All I can find are A/N fitting adapters.???????

Find an old P/S pump and rob the fitting off of it? Otherwise, I'd say buy a new high pressure hose....

I had the same problem. took the old hoses to a hydraulic shop. they cut the fittings off and brazed them to new fittings that came with new high pressure hoses (300psi) and added one metric fitting. Beautiful job and easy to instal. Cost $35
