Anybody ever use these? Teflon is supposed to be the slippereiest (sp) substance in the world. They don't need to be greased and nothing sticks to it no grease or oil or anything it just slides right off becasue of the reaction of the flouride in the teflon. They are supposed to last forevere , just wondering if anybody has eveer used them on, and could anybody find them for GM A-bodies?

I just helped a friend put them in a '62 Studebaker he was building and frankly, I wasn't impressed. Maybe it was the design/manufacturer but they were a PITA to get right. It was just a solid chunk of teflon so without a sleeve in the middle, the A-arm crushed in and bound up the whole front end. Took some fabricating to get it all right. I'd just go with any Energy Suspension or similar urethane bushing any day.
