I'm about to put a 454 in my 67 chevelle, and was thinking about intake manifold to hood clearance, is this a problem? if so, does anyone know which intakes will work? I was wanting to go with an Edelbrock performer RPM.

Welcome to Team Chevelle!
This question has been asked lots here....use the SEARCH FUNCTION, maybe 2-3 weeks worth of reading on this. Lots of knowledge here...and people willing to share.
I do believe the consensus is that the intake fits with regular carbs.
I do know that the Edelbrock Thunder AVS with Electric Choke will NOT FIT.
Eddie carbs with Electric Chokes cannot use a drop base air cleaner.

I'll let the 67 guys chime in.

thx, thats what I was looking for, I guess the RPM will fit as long as I use a holly and a drop base aircleaner. I searched but I couldn't find anything.
