I am getting so close to being able to drive this baby and it is making me crazy. I am in the process of hooking up all the hoses and since the heather hoses were plugged with a rubber stopper and a hose clamp when i got the car I don't know if I know where to hook the lines up. The car is a 1972 Malibu that formally had a 307 with A/C. Now it is a wanna-be SS clone that isn't sure if it is getting A/C or not with a 454. I have a new long weiand water pump and I assume the bypass goes from the front of the manifold to the driver side inlet in the pump and the 3/4" hose goes to the other inlet on the water pump and the 5/8" to the manifold or do I have that backwards? I am also installing a new aluminum radiator and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of coolant or proper steps other than just bolting it in when I install it. Also, what pressure cap should I use? Should I run an overflow can or just run the hose down like before? Thanks in advance for your help.
