Now we have all done some stupid things before. A long while back, myself in a pinch slotted the front upper control arm chassis mounts to fit these uppers I had.:noway: Photo below:

I can insert the arm and move 1/4" to 1/8" front to back. What is the best way to relign the stock arms to fix this? I was probably going to weld something on the inside then fill in the back where the control arms butts to.
Also, is this worth fixing (shown below)? This is how both of the body mount holes look that are directly in front of where the frame slopes up for the rearend. Third set back of bushings from the front, second that the body is bolted to.

I'd find a frame in the wrecking yard or somebody parting out a car. Cut the sections out (big) that you need and basically make a piece to a puzzle. Cut your bad area out and make a good piece from the donor frame to fit it.

Or just replace the entire frame.

They sell the washers to repair the body mount hole. The question is how is the surrounding area? If the frame is pitted and rusted thin all around, why bother. But the washers work good if you have good metal to weld to, I had to use one.

If all you are looking for is a quarter skin, I would go with a repop.
