I have brake lights and turn signals.... but not both If I am braking and turn on the signals the brake lights quit. I have chased and chased!:confused: I would appreciated any info.:yes:

Brake lights run through the turn signal switch because the brake light is also the turn signal light.

This assumes you are talking about an old Chevelle.

Modern "stuff" is different.

Just asked the same question. It's the turn signal switch in the steering column. About 50 bucks and a hassle to replace.
