I was told there are other later model disc set ups that will work on a 68 malibu(other than chevelle). Some one told me 79 Nova will interchange for instance. Is this correct? are there others? If they do, are there any modifications necessary?

74 and below Nova is direct replacement. Anything higher than that is a tall spindle swap and requires more tweeking.

i put disk brakes off a s-10 on my le mans convertable and will do the same for my 67 chevelle.the swap wasnt to bad. i changed the top ball joints with s10 i changed the bottoms also but had to turn them down .88 thou. then to fit the sterring i changed the inner and outer tie rod ends with s10,they were the same length as my lemans and the inner fit perfctly into the drag link.i also changed the rear to disk off an s10 blazer,but that another post
