I posted this in the general section as well but maybe one of you restorers will pick up on it here!!! Just bought the small 1/4 window glass chanel rollers for my '67 convert. They don't roll! They're more like a nylon wheel on a stud but don't turn. Tried a little WD-40 and worked them with a pliers which helped but still stiff. Is this o-k or do I need to look for another manufacturer?? Seems to me they'll wear a flat spot in the nylon over time if they don't roll. Anybody had any experience?? Thanks!

No, they are fine. They are called rollers but they don't actually roll. They just fit in the tracks and slide up and down. Clean your tracks and lube with white lithum or some other light grease. Also, if you are replaciing a broken roller look for the nylon head. It will be on the bottom of the quarter panel or still stuck in the guide. If you leave it in the guide there's a good chance your new roller will hit it and block the windows full movement. Try to clean and lube all the tracks while your in there.
