Last fall I put a new Zoom clutch and pressure plate in. I noticed here lately a noise that sounds like its coming from the transmission. It has that spinning bearing sound. I can make the sound stop just by lightly depressing the clutch pedal.
I am not even taking the free play out of the pedal, just a little pressure off the stop.
I assumed I might have my clutch adjustment too tight and the throw out bearing was touching the fingers, thus making the spinning bearing sound.
I loosened the adjustment so I absolutely know the throwout bearing is not touching the fingers.
After I go through the gears and start cruising in 4th gear that noise starts again. Its the same story, I lightly push down on my clutch pedal and just get it off the rubber stop, not even enough to take up the free play in the pedal and that spinning bearing noise stops.
I do not even put any pressure on the fork, so I know I'm not putting any pressure on the throwout bearing
Any suggestions on what it is or how to make it stop.
