hello everybody, i just recently bought my first chevelle and found this site. I am new to the car game, but I'm going to try to restore this 68 mostly myself. I hope you guys can assist me in my efforts as i don't know as much as i should. I've been working on quads, dirt bikes, and street bikes my whole life so I'm not afraid to dig into anything, I just need some guidance with it. I hope to meet some good people on here, and I'm sure there's a bunch on here from phoenix, so maybe when I get her runnin we can meet up. look forward to talking to ya's - jay

Are you lucky enough to have AC where you work on the car? Guy I work with drove through the valley last weekend, I think he said it was like 115*. Your 68 ought to make a great car. Jim

Jay, I know how you feel. last weekend I was finishing up my motor install in tucson, on the driveway, in the sun. I think it hit about 106*. But the first test drive, Grin on my face, and its all worth it. I hope you get yours running quickly! 68 parts are a bit of a oddball, dash pieces and stuff arent repoped. If you go to craigslist and even in the classifieds here, theres a guy advertising under azchev He seems to always have stuff for sale in phoenix and sierra vista. Jim
