There were a lot of guys from our Club there Dave. I'm sure some of them will chime in here. I made the first one about ten years ago, but unfortunately have not been back since. It is one major car happening for sure

I would like to know the car count this year - how many thousands were there

I was there but unfortunatly car less:(, as I had engine problems at Grand Island the weekend before.

There were a bunch of us for the Cam/Am club there.

I was there, too but also car-less. I have been to every one so far. A little rainy on Fri. but over-all a decent time. Haven't heard an "official" car count yet but it has to be over 6,000. Didn't look like much of a recession-based show to me. Lots of cars and spectators.

I wish I was able to go. Syracuse is my hometown. I've been to the nationals a few times, always a great weekend. They don't call it the biggest car gathering in the east for nothin'.

I was there, all 3 days with a car! The final talley is going to be over 7000 cars. Friday and Saturday I was parked on the east side of the midway area with some fellow Can Am Chevelle members, Sunday near gate 3 with the "Garage Rats" which included 4 rather nice velles. I use to post this event to see if anyone was going, always little or no response from TC members. If you could walk the entire site you would probably see 250 -300 chevelles, from battered and beaten to pro street with everything between. Think of any muscle car from the 60's to early 70's, it was probably there!

Dave, we were parked along the buildings on the east side of the midway area. (The west side would have against the race track). I am older then my car (leave it there) and so is Don Lightfoot. I probably looked at your car, but to be honest do not recall seeing it. Post a picture or better yet stop up to one of the Syracuse area cruise in locations. Also, start a thread about the Little York Lake Show a week or 2 before the date, that way local TC members will be aware!

Speaking of local area cruises, do they still do Thursday nights at the Regional Market? What about Sylvan Beach? Not that I could make it, but just wondering.

Hello b man. I will be there in my red on red 65 malibu ss. I will arrive this afternoon. We are camping right at the fairgrounds. I meet you last year at Hickory Park. Awesome car you have there. My Malibu will be parked straight back from gate 1. Past the Chevy Court stage there is the pond with the white fence around it. I plan on parking near the gift pavilion building that is near the pond. See you there.

Scott, Yes I did see you pull in that way yesterday... I have been scrambling around as my fuel pump went bad.. and I have a unique set up........ahhhhhhhhh!!! Not easy with these toys. AND my car got picked for the Designers Dozen so it would help if my car was running!! Having a fuel pump overnighted to me.

Hey B-Man Nice job on the Designers Dozen nomination. There were lots of Chevelles there. I think about 1 in 20 cars was a Chevelle. Man Saturday was brutally hot. We left early Sunday afternoon. Nice to have found you there. Likely to see you at Hickory Park.
