i have drum fronts with a hurst line lock and a proportioning valve installed on the rears and the valve is full open to not restrict fluid to the rears(big ford brakes). all the brake parts are brand new and the master cyl.is a bought rebuilt dual unit. i tried bending the spring to make the top tighter and that didn't help, there is fluid on the underside of the master cyl, but nothing below the lines. it's not a drastic leak it's just that when i put the car back in the garage the next day there is another puddle there and before i take the car out i have to put a little in. i keep the full level down about 1/4 inch from the top. is there suppose to be any gap between the push rod and the inside of the plunger. my brake peddle doesn't come all the way back up. maybe 1" plus i have to pull it up or the brake lights stay on, the car does stop good, i've had to jump on the binders once and it surprised me for drums all the way arround. any help would be appreciated thanks
