Help, need immediate assistance.... 67'ss396/w oversize cam/ headers...newly purchased, restored car. 15" tires rub on turns at inside fender well at top hex bolt. At a spring company, determined that front springs should measure 11" but was only 9"...put on new springs according to spring catalog recommendation. New measurements were still 9", however, existing heavy duty gas shocks raised it to 10-1/2, which should not have made any difference....problem now is almost eliminated except for sharp, quick turns over bumps.
>>>>>Need to know original front spring length and gauge thickness as I am in dispute with spring dealer.<<<<<<< Also, these srings may settle after couple months! Also, everyone agrees, the gas shocks should not raise the height....comments?

I have an issue with the springs in my 67, they have olds vista written on them on the top. so I tried to find out if they are the same as the chevelle springs. I did get some tech info on the chevelle springs so I could measure the olds vista ones to see if they match. here is what the napa parts guy gave me on the chevelle spring
