Engine is mildly modified, streetable, but a lot of power on tap. But the transmission is stock.

In '70 my car had a TH400, but now it has a TH350, which makes me weary but anyway, what can i do or have done, to my TH350 to go along with the motor?

Keep in mind i do have a 2.56 non posi rear. :(

What engine?? There is a big difference between a "mildly modified" Big block and a "mildly modified" Small block...

350.

and by mildly modified, i just mean, aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4bbl, Mallory ignition, Edelbrock cam, lifters, new push rods, roller timing chain, Schoenfeld Headers, blah blah blah

A stock TH350 Will live fine behind that Combo.. Don't worry about it... Unless the trans is old and has a lot of miles on it, You won't have a problem.

theres no doubt that yours is making more power than mine. I have stock cam and exhuast manifolds and everything, mine is a 70 350, eddy 4 bbl and aluminum intake and the same rear end. I have beaten the car pretty bad and done a solid amount of burnouts and just tearing around with the car. To top it all off I had a pair of 335 wide tires on it and I drove the h@#$ out of it for a bit with those, and the rear held up to it all

I would install a TransGo valve body kit in it. It will dual feed the third clutches and make it live longer.
A fresh build with this kit and some very minor internal upgrades will handle over 700lb/ft of torque for years at a time.

^ i have no idea what hp and torque i have lol

hp i estimate at just over 350hp, (stock L65 w/2bbl = 250hp) + performance upgrades=... ?? lol

No idea on torque though.

How about a shift kit?

How about a shift kit?

A "Shift Kit" is a trademarked term by TransGo. TransGo sells Shift Kits to correct common issues with various automatic transmissions. It is not however a performance oriented kit.
That is why I said "valve body kit". The one I would suggest would be the TransGo Reprogramming Kit 350-1&2.
