70ls1nova Jul 17th, 09, 9:22 AM we'ere building a 70 chevelle and can't seem to find a tranny crossmember for the TH400 tranny... any ideas where I can get one? You just change out the mount pad you put between the transmission and the crossmember. You may have to slide it back on the frame, but there are several holes for adjustment. The only difference is the four speed crossmember, and the convertibles us a shorter one because the frame is boxed. The frame from 68 to 72 are all the same.
