I am trying to design my own truck arm suspension and had a few questions.
Where do the springs mount?
The truck arm or rearend assembly?
Where do the shocks mount?
What kind of steel are the materials made of?
Thanks for any help

Where do the springs mount?Whereever you decide, ideally on the arm as that gives you more flexibuility in ride height options
The truck arm or rearend assembly?
Where do the shocks mount?custom mounts, you'll have to decide what suits your needs best

I SURE LIKE that rear end but I must say it certainly reminds me of the rears under the 67-72 chevy pickups and I can buy the whole truck (at least the rear ) for a lot less than their quoted prices am I wrong on the similarity?

No, not wrong. It is exactly the same design, also the same design used on Nascar chassis. The arms and perches are the only things you can use though. The crossmemeber and bracing will have to be fabbed up-thats where HTH comes in. They've already done all the homework and design for you. Thats what you are paying for.Besides all the spring jack screws and misc harware, springs, shocks, etc.
