So today I noticed that the id tag is missing from the cowl on my malibu. Does anyone know if the tag can be replaced with the original information?

Also while on the subject, where are all the obvious places you can find the build sheet in a 70 chevelle?

I think there is a company out there that makes new cowl tags.

For build sheet, I think some have found them above the gas tank, under the back seat, in the door and in the headliner. It may depend on the plant of manufacture. If you don't get better info here from other 70 owners, post again in the resto forum maybe.
