I have a saginaw 3 speed. I am wondering if its worth anything or would it have a better use being melted down...

Side cover 3952645 (this is definite, clear as day)

Also what look to be
E 8 6 on the side cover
and
F 2 5 5 on the tailshaft...

Camaro 3 spd for a 6 cylinder...

Any demand would be from someone that is restoring a car that had one. Any that I had were scrapped years ago!

It's a 3-speed Saginaw (Low Performance) of 1975 and 1976 vintage per the given date codes. The given combination of casting numbers first shows up in my Chevrolet By The Numbers book in 1973.

I say melt it.:D

dirt track racers love them around here. Usually bring 100 to 200 dollars.
