Did my disc spindle swap, just want to check my facts. Can I use my original hose mounts? (frame and spindle) I know I need to use 78 camaro hoses with az #313935 banjo bolt. Does anyone know what the part # for the distribution block is? Now I also need to swap to a different master cylinder one that's set up for front disc and rear drum, is that correct? Does anyone know a part # for that. Right now my master cylinder has two lines coming out going to the distribution block, looks like one for the front and one for the back. would I still need to swap it out? Thanks for the help,Dave

You need to replace the mastercylnder with a power brake booster assemble. You also need to install a proportional valve for disk brakes or an adjustable one.

You can use (surprise!) hoses for a Chevelle if you are using A body front disk brakes. You can use the stock banjo bolts. The hose mounting brackets should be changed to work with the disk brake hoses. If you use other types of hoses, check to see if the thickness of the baracket is correct. The disk brake hose brackets originally were double thickness. The master cylinder must be changed to accomodate the greater fluid volume of the disk caliper. The distribution block can be replaced with a '71-'72 combination valve pretty easily and will look stock. Or you could keep the distribution block and use an aftermarket proportioning valve in the rear line.

If I remember right the spindles are from a 74 nova. Not worried about the stock appereance, so maybe I'll just get the proportioning valve. Thanks for the replies, Dave
