I have about 1/8" clearance from my caliper bracket to inside of wheel. I have plenty of room off of the caliper, but the two widest points of the caliper bracket are the closest. The disc kit is from Ground Up. Any comments appreciated
Thanks, Don

Ran into same problem last week with same brand of brackets. I removed a few 16ths from the edge (outer edge)of the bracket with 4.5 inch grinder. I have 14 " steel Rocket rims with alloy centers. Tried car out under heavy braking conditions, no problem. Caliper will work itself inwards as pads wear down so clearance will increase as caliper moves inwards. Have same setup (calipers)on my 31 Ford Roadster that I built in 1978. Thousands of trouble free miles. Remember, the lower part of the bracket only supports the caliper when brakes are applied in reverse. Also remember that the inner edge of the bracket is what really supports the caliper. You may need 15" wheels if this does not work for you. The outer edge of the bracket only acts as a steady for the caliper. Only take a little off the edge at a time. Good luck.
