Hello. I have a 1964 Chevelle. The gas gauge was not working and I replaced the fuel sending unit and all was up and working again. Recently I noticed that the gauge was jumping around and then stopped working. I crawled under the car and pulled off the sending unit wire and reconnected again. That solved the problem and it works again. Unfortunately it started to happen next time out and I repeated the wire disconnect and reconnect and it's working again. I have come to the conclusion that the connector is loose. Does anyone know where I can get a new one? They don't look common and have a rubber boot over them.
